Homework and Procrastination
I just got out of class a little while ago and I have a lot to do tonight, but I'm not feeling the pressure to start anything yet. This is a bad thing. On my list of assignments due tomorrow are:

  • A presentation for Japanese class. This is big, and I started it over the weekend, but I'm editing video and collecting screen shots/music clips for it, so it's taking  a lot of time. That, and Asian drama synopsis are difficult to write in Japanese x.x.
  • An algorithmic art piece done in Flash using ActionScript. This would be a lot easier if I had more experience in any kind of programming. I want to make a Flash animation that draws random shapes with pretty colors so every time you reload the page it's something different. :)
  • Two forum posts on what I think of abstract art styles covered in my textbook for Communication Graphics.
The forum posts will be easy, but the presentation and the algorithm stuff won't be too thrilling. I'm going my presentation on Hana Yori Dango, Loveholic and Farewell Firefly (Japanese, Korean and Chinese dramas, respectively), so as I'm trying to pick out what scenes to show in class tomorrow I end up watching a majority of an episode ^_^. I'm nervous about presenting, too. Wish me luck! I'll start it... soon. Yeah.

Your presentation sounds fun and really interesting and i kinda wish i was in your japanese class.. The workload for the algorithmich art however seems really intense. Truth be told this is the first time i've ever heard of the term algorithmic art.

I just have to say that I adored Loveholic...but KangTa as a high school student wasn't really so believable...haha. :P

You better be nervous about the presentation. I plan to laugh at you in a very loud and rude way if you make any mistakes at all.

Ah! Did you know that in January they start filming the movie: Hana Yori Dango Final. The author is actually working on the project as well, so it's going to be AMAZING. I can't wait!!!!

My friend Nick had a presentation in Japanese class; said it was about anything he wanted to talk about. ^^; He has Sakamoto Sensei at 4pm [301]. I'm not sure what class you are in or what level but yeah.

^^; Hope you did well! I have my oral exam tomorrow. Eek!

I'm in 401 with Shimojo, but I LOVE Sakamoto-sensei :) Good luck on your oral exam! I saw a bunch of 101 kids sitting outside of Sakamoto's office stressing over them. Ahh, those were the days... ^_^
